The National Year of Reading 2012 officially gets underway in Australia on February 14th.
Like you, I am about to be swept up in the euphoria of celebrating the joy of reading during a year that will be one long focus on inspiring and encouraging reading. With a host of local, state and national activities and events planned, the year ahead certainly promises to be massive, exciting and stimulating.
Taking centre stage in the planning of the year is the Love2Read campaign. Ideas and events listed on The National Year of Reading 2012 website are regularly being expanded and updated and are a constant source of inspiration.
In the spirit of sharing begun by the NYOR team, I intend to post on my blog various promotional articles that I will be writing and circulating to my school community throughout the coming year. I intend listing articles as they are written. Once published here, I will add a hyperlink so that others can read them.
